Well Forrest is a title holder, and is currently what many people would argue in the form of his career. And say he beats Cotto, or Mosley after that .Then he has to be number 2. When fighting great opposition like De La Hoya is and has done for a while, even losses don't tarnish you in the rankings that much.

Forrest WOULD make sense because that is Shane's conqueror. Oscar won't fight him because Oscar knows that he could never beat VF. Not in the amateurs. Not as pros.
