yea Thompson has the same style as wlad but not as powerful or as skilled. I don't mean to take anything away from him, he's a good fighter. I really can't tell whos going to win the Ibrgimov Holyfield fight but for sure Tony Thompson would lose to all three named above.

what the!? Thompson lose to Evander and Imbragimov?! youve got to be kidding me...think, man, think.
Thompson just knocked out Krasniqi in 5, who was waaay ahead of Brewster on points before he got knocked out.
Beat Guinn, not too amazing, but beating Guinn did earn Liakhovich and Toney title shots, if that means anything...he was also coming off that win over Fraudly.
He beat Timor Imbragimov, who isnt amazing or anything, but its Calvin Brocks best win, unless you want to say Jameel McCline, who lost to freakin...
Zuri Lawrence! Thompson beat him too. not that it means much. then again, right after Lawrence DID go onto Draw with Ray Austin...

who, incidently, came close to beating Imbragimov, although if my memory is right I thought Imbragimov won it. either way, if Austin could give Imbragimov problems with his style, Thompson would waste him...

I havn't seen alot of Ibrigamov but Holyfield probably has enough to at least be competetive, in fact I'm picking him to win.

            .

This is one of the most blatant and excessive displays of the flawed 'circular logic' I've even seen on boxingscene!....

hahaha, it is pretty bad, isnt it?

but if you really want to break down each top heavies fights, then the only one that is any good is Wladimir...which may be the truth, lol...

the point was that Thompsons wins over Krasniqi, Timor Imbragimov and Guinn should get him more respect. and that he would probebly KO Imbragimov. thats all.

and his last outing wasnt boring http://youtube.com/watch?v=BFsAeSdY2...elated&search= ...In fact, Tony kind of reminds me of Glen Johnson. well, if you use your imagination, hhaha.

This is one of the funnies things I've read today...

2007-02-16 : Playboy Mansion, Beverly Hills, CA, USA : Tony Thompson beat Timor Ibragimov by UD in round 10 of 10
Thompson's camp brought him to the venue slightly unprepared -- he was lacking boxing shoes, and had to borrow a pair of basketball shoes from a Fox Sports Network producer.

He's going to make more money if he fights Holyfield. It's that simple you guys are making it way more complicated that it should be. People don't want to see Thompson fight they wanna see Holyfield.
