    This Holyfield-Imbragimov fight is bull****...

Seriously, wtf? I know that the proposed Chagaev-Imbragimov unification fell apart (too bad, this was a great step in the right direction) and they needed a replacement, but why the hell aint Tony Thompson getting the title shot? Hes been on a roll for years now and he beat the **** out of highly regarded Luan Krasniqi for the WBO Heavyweight eliminator in 5 rounds....

I know its his voluntary defense...but this **** is ridiculous. I mean old man Holyfield? cmon. Hes done nothing to get close to a title shot. Imo, Thompson would beat the **** out of Imbragimov too.
and if Holyfield actually wins, dear god, Imbragimov is worse than I thought.

It's all about the money, Irish. Ibragimov stands to make much more money fighting an old past prime, but rejuventated, former champion Evander Holyfield than the virtually unknown and kinda boring, Thompson. That's boxing my friend!...

I don't agree that this is anyway unfair or "dirty." This is Ibragimov's first voluntary defense, who he is allowed to fight any ranked fighter in the division. What's wrong with picking Holyfield? He's a capable opponent who has alot of marketability....

Yes Imbragimov is worse than you thought. Holyfield will knock this bum out. Not to worry, holy will try to unify the titles.

do you homeworks, and learn how to ****ing type, haha.

I just think its pathetic sometimes. I understand Holyfields marketability...the old bastard still has ppvs fighting bums! and I do like Holyfield, hard not to like em, but Im just sick of all thes worthless voluntary defences. nothing new of course....but Tony Thompson has deserved a shot way more than the likes of Peter Okhello, Owen Beck and Monte Barret....

like I said, nothing new...but it gets frustrating. only one that makes good defences is Wladimir...

Irish, I guess you got to look at boxing from a business point of view and you'll understand why things are the way they are. Sure, Thompson has earned a shot and he'll get it, but he has little marketability and is boring as ****....
