He also needs to work the jab more. The one thing he does have that could really be devastating to Manny, what with Manny being a southpaw, is Katsidis' tendency for right hand leads. Imagine if Pacquiao missed him with a left hook. But the converse could also be true.

How can it be too early for a guy who is already a champion at a higher weight to go against a much smaller guy??? He can call out other champs in his divison yet hes not ready for the guy in the lower weight class who has never even fought at that weight???

The Idea of this fight seems strange to me. Manny didn't want to fight Morales at 135, so why would Manny want to fight Katsidis at 135 who is a naturally very strong Lightweight. Doesn't make sense, I think this is all talk from Golden Boy to generate general interest in Katsidis, who should fight David Diaz if he's looking for a fight soon. Katsidis he needs to start working on a jack hammer jab other wise it's going to be a hard career.
