I agree vs Hatton only because Hatton does not have a proven chin
He took a number of straight rights from Zoo right on the chin and was still on his feet. Been knocked down once. Chin is proven.

funny how all the people who said Hatton was a nobody are suddenly giving him credit so that they can say Floyd beat a great opponent.

        pathetic!

Hatton's chin is pretty solid and has been proven as such. Certainly more proven that Mayweather's power is. I really dont know where anyone would get such strange assumptions from other than simple guesswork.

            ME2007,

So, what are YOU saying about Hatton? Is he a great, undefeated champion? Or is he an average guy who made a name beating aging fighters?

Nobody said Hatton was great. Maybe his fans did. I didn't. He's undefeated and very good though.

hatton aint **** when he loses to floyd it wont mean anything because floyd is the best in the game and floyd could definitely knock out hatton.as far as claiming he is one of floyds best opponents is only because all you hatton fans feel he's so great so when floyd whips his ass floyd will deserves all the credit he will and should recieve

                    Nah, man.

Hatton ain't great... but he's very good.

Floyd has not fought a GREAT fighter. But he has beaten a bunch of "good and very good fighters.

good: manfredy, corley, gatti, goyo, famoso, sharmba, jukko, baldomir, etc:

very good: delahoya, corrales, judah, castillo, chavez, genaro, hatton(?).

Will a win over Hatton elevate PBF's legacy? Probably not. Except that people were critical that Floyd never beat the best at 140. A win over Hatton puts that to rest. And Hatton is smack dab in his prime and at his peak.

A LOT of professional fighters had picked ODLH to beat PBF. ALOT. See this link:

side note: I think Codrington is still loopy from the Green fight.

But floyd proved that that wasnt an issue by wearing oscar out...Floyd was ready to roll but wouldnt pull the trigger...because of FEAR.
