Yeah, I also countered that by saying that Oscar's chin is pretty ****ing good. One KO, and it was a body shot from a dude who should have been fighting at 175, with oscar moving up from 154. All of his head shot knockdowns have been flash for the most part (the Quartey one didn't have him seriously hurt).
Mayweather: "Hatton's getting punished".

it might be just me, but i don't think floyd's inability to KO Oscar de la Hoya, and the absolute granite chinned Baldomir- means that he doesn't have the power to put someone on their ass. Had the free-for-all not occurred Zab would have lost in much more embarrassing fashion- anyone who's seen that fight will agree. Oscar de la Hoya doesn't get KO'd generally, and it's hard for me to imagine anything less than a sledge hammer KOing Baldomir.
i think floyd could probably knock ricky hatton out if the fight goes his way completely. that said- i'm not going to count out ricky's relentless swarming style. but if floyd can handle it i think he's just going to carve ricky up all night long. but if it really troubles mayweather its going to be an awesome style match-up. I can only see Ricky winning a close decision. Meanwhile it's easier for me to picture either
a) a wide decision win for floyd
b) stoppage on cuts for floyd
c) a close decision for floyd? which on paper sounds really ****ing disappointing and probably would be.Comment

All I know is that he was worn ragged and there is no excuse for floyd to not open fire when he is in such a weakened state.
Flash knockdowns are not the sign of a strong chin. Not having that damage exploited into a real KO is a sign of a good boxer.Comment

And that is exactly what Oscar does... he has never really allowed damage to his head to turn into anything big, hence, he has never been KO'd by a head shot, nor has he really been hurt and disoriented from a head shot.
Hell yeah for the 500th post! Interim Champion!Comment

Oscar still has the power to hurt a little guy coming up whether he is tired or not IMO.
