Tyson was great when he was knocking erm over left and right a force of nature.. that was great!![/QUOTE]

now if anybody was overrated, it was Tyson, He billed his career up by knocking bums out, and when he did get in the ring with the good fighters, he always came up short. but of coarse it looked good when he was knocking out nobody's, but tell me who he beat that were still in their primes and was great?

Numerous times... most recently after the Gatti fight I think, and he did it pretty much every fight before that.

Matter of fact, I have never ever heard one single fan say anything bad about him after meeting him, even the guys that cant stand him. They all have came back saying that he was totally nice in person and signed autographs when my favorite fighter left and wouldnt sign them
        Thats true.

A guy I know was always talking **** about Floyd until about a year and a half ago when he was playing a pick-up game of basketball with him. Afterwards, he said Floyd was a funny guy who seemed real laid back. But he did say that he wasn't a very good basketball player. People just like to talk **** about people they don't know.

Have you ever even meet the guy?? I've seen him twice and he is as arrogant in real life as he is on T.V. His pops was cool and talked to me @ the Mosley vs Vargas II fight.. I have also meet Joan Guzman and Freddie Roach and Oscar De La Hoya.. Now those are some down to earth dudes!

It's not his job to thank people. It's his job to go into the ring, and basically done what he has done so far, fight clean and win. He didnt get where he is by respecting fans. Sure, it may make some people consider him an ass, but again, either way he is the champion and makes his money.

He is one of the hardest training athletes in the world, hasnt lost a fight, and strives for greatness, that should be the only thing that matters if youre a fan of a boxer. If i was a fan of a guy that gave back, id be a fan of salvation army worker. Ima fan of boxing therefore ima fan of boxers, what they do on their own, i dont really care, as long as when they get in the ring, theyre prepared to give their all and compete at the highest level. The other things look good but have nothing to do with the sport that ima fan of.

Sweet lack of coherency, especially when calling someone an idiot.

oddly enough, i have some friends in vegas who say even people who try to rip on him, hes never mean to them and never runs his mouth to the fans. he always thanks people for their support and never turns away anyone. they say when hes out on the strip that hes approachable and always smiles fan or not.

Yeah Floyd gave me an autograph I was yelling to him while he was in the ring and I waved my ESPN magazine with his face on it. He told a guy from his entourage to go and get the magazine from me so he could sign it.
