Im looking at this as a person watching a fight ..............
For example Mayweather has quick reflexes, speed, and can do things rarely seen in any sport. Hatton well.............he has power, he holds alot and has nothing out the ordinary skill other than his holding and hitting strategy. Id say Mayweather

Hattons the best for boxing world wide, no ifs or buts. He fills out stadiums in america, is signed to an american tv station and is on ppv and primetime free view over there. Mayweather on the other hand, no body knows him outside usa and those that do know him think hes a bellend, now bell ends are not good for boxing r they?

Hatton ain't a patch on DLH in terms of sales figures and entertainment. You could also add Cotto, Barrera, Pacman, Morales (although I appreciate he's done now, he was entertainment) and Floyd.

Another thing, everyone outside the USA knows Floyd, he's the next Ali. Get with it.

Im a hardcore boxing fan and I like all types of boxers. I may be wrong but I think most people dont feel that way anymore, including hardcore fans and the media. I think most people now just want to see blood & guts. They want to see brawlers and so on. I like brawlers. I was a big fan of Tito, Chico, and a ton of other guys. I fight that way myelf. However, I also love boxers. I love the fact that I can see a guy who's much smaller and physically overmatched still be able to win against a big strong monster because he has mastered the sweet science. I could watch a boxer all day and appreciate his greatness while most people will call them boring.

Overall, Floyd represents me the most because he's a boxer and more of a hip hop guy. I think he represents well by being the best conditioned boxer and hardest trainer out there. People call him ****y and talk about his talent but that hasnt gotten him to the top and kept him there. He's at the top because he puts in work. I think his mouth overshadows that at time. People talk about his work ethic but they do it in a nonchalant way. He doesnt cheat the sport at all. He works hard non stop and never poisons his body with bad food, alcohol, ciggs, or drugs.

Hatton is probally the better representer for the casual fan. Most of them just want to see all out fights. I do think he holds too much but he still has his exciting moments. He talks well and is very intelligent. I do think that people give him and some other over seas guys like Tsyzu too much of a pass though. Im saying that people rip guys like Floyd for there mouths but Hatton, Tsyzu, and others are way more ****ier then people give them credit for. They will not hesitate to talk smack. They just dont do it with curse-words so people think its ok but they will brag on themselves and put other guys down very quick.

I think that Floyd represents well in the media also. Its just in a completely different way. He sells himself but talking smack and being controversial but I dont see why people hate that so much. If this was any other sport then I might agree with the people but this is boxing. Boxing was built off of arrogence and people talking **** to eachoter. Why does everyone have to be a choir boy? I think its great that the sport has all different kind of personalites. I definatly dont want every fighter to be humble and quiet. I like when they talk ****. It just makes the upcoming fight more excitintg
right on, you say your piece well, i do agree with you 100% on one thing and that is mayweather is one of the best if not the best in his conditioning. i see him running fairly often out here in vegas, he does do his road work and conditioning to the fullest.

Anyone who knows sport or boxing generally knows Floyd. As for him being the next Ali, he could well be. If he beats SMM and Cotto next, he will be.

Another thing for you, Ali wasn't that great.
