Many fighters with "exciting styles" end up with brain damage. And I disagree about his fights being boring anyway, most of you clowns never even watched Floyd fight, pre-Baldomir

I watched his Castillo fight where Jose Luis was all over him. That was exciting and when it was time 2 go toe to toe Merryweather didn't look comfortable at all.

He's a boring fighter. An inferior version of that big Canadian Lennox Lewis in terms of excitement in a lower weight class

He knows it too, thats why he pissed his pants when Ricky said he wasn't exciting.

Well nothing except for the fact that Floyd has put together more toe-to-toe fights than the majority of fighters in the sport today. Let me name a few just off the top of my head: Corrales, Sosa, N'dou, Bruseles, Corley, Gatti, Judah, Mitchell, Burton. Without looking at boxrec to dig up every single time he did. How many has Hatton fought toe-to-toe (meaning NOT holding after every single thrown punch so don't say Castillo)

All boxer's eventually get brain damage unless they drop out relatively early or keep sparring to a minimum. The name of the game is not avoiding pain, thats just a part. Its boxing, and what makes boxing so great is the FIGHTING aspect of it, otherwise its just fencing with gloves. And you so-called "boxing experts" with your elitist views need to admit that trying to hurt the other guy and fighting smart are not mutually exclusive...YOU CAN DO BOTH!

Those fights weren't toe to toe in the true sense. Stop stretching the definition just so you can defend floyd like some groupie.

He's a boring fighter, no one likes him, he has no support, he's detatched from reality and he'll never be remembered as a great

By youre own standards, considering you say that judah/mayweather was "toe-to-toe", every single hatton fight is a toe to toe slugfest.

Well pain translates to damage, and damage is caused by punches... seems like the name of the game is to hit and not be hit. But I guess you are right, that is only a part of it. That's why Floyd truly is a master of the game... he hits (hard when he sits down on his punches) without getting hit. The only time he doesn't sit down on his punches is when he is outweight by a ****ton, which would be ODLH (because it was his 5th weightclass), and Baldomir (who walks around at 190 and fights at 147). I mean, what the **** do you want from this guy? He has thrown impressive combinations in all of his fights previous to Baldomir and De La Hoya.

Sorry it wasn't toe-to-toe because Judah started running when he got hit. Floyd stood in front of him and combo'd him all night after round 4.

Dude just accept Floyd doesn't go toe to toe. PEople in 10 years are never gonna look back and say 'remember that great Floyd fight'.

Know why? because they're not worth remembering. True story.
