Pardon me, but I think that it is you that don't know what you are talking about.

His chin is well, not so great, if it was great, he would not get knocked out in his last fight and would not get rocked around in a ring by a half unconcious fighter. And don't forget, Eastman also rocked him a few.

I'm not crying motha****a. I'm a grown ass man thats voicing his opinion. So you mean to tell me just because a fighter can't beat somebody for some other reason they a bum? Why can't it just be that the better man won? Ali has got losses on his career because he boxing skills weren't enough. Does that make him a bum? No. George Foreman was a person who was more of a puncher than a boxer. Was he considered a bum? No. Joe Frazier has had a couple of ass whoopings under his belt but was he considered a bum? No. So I guess Jeff Lacy is a bum too right? All I'm saying is that give people a chance. In boxing every fighter is gonna come across an opponent thats gonna have their number. Don't go off just one bad lost to say the mans a bum. There are number of great boxers in the history of the sport that have had bad losses but they bounce back. Give the guy a chance to bounce back first before you start judging his abilities as a boxer. Thats all I'm saying. And I honestly think that unless your a boxer, trainer, or have some sort of boxing expertise than you have no right to criticize boxer's abilites.

He should have never been in the ring that night. You could see during his walk to the ring he was doomed. He was pushed too much, 4 huge fights in less than 8 months. It was bound to happen.

He also admitted he did not take the Pavlik fight as serious as some other fights. He didnt get into the great shape he had always been in. That is why he couldnt make weight too.

Anyway, I am still a huge fan and expect great things from his a 168lbs, a much more 'natural' weight for him to make.

Good luck Edison! Ill be watching.

Oh... and sorry for the disappearing act. Been traveling all summer and kinda stepped away from the boxing scene after my boy got his ass whipped. But I still stand behind him. And thanks for all of you who had nice comments to send me after the fight!

                hes absolutely not a bum
allan green is no bum and miranda taxed that ass
i really think pavlik was just the man 2 beat him
not untill taylor is on his ass on sept 29th will people relize the strengh and skill pavlik has
                mirandia can also beat taylor
allan green taylor would be a good fight which might happen if taylor losses

As I said earlier its not because he lost. I know some of the best have lost. I said its how he lost. Once he knew his power couldn't KO Pavlik he had no other boxing skills to fall back to even make the fight competitive. He's not really a bum just a very limited fighter and I'm talking a little **** today. I am not a fan of his but I also want him to improve on his boxing skills so he can be competitive in fights when he can't KO his opponent. Look at your first post that **** was more crying than voicing a opinion. Jeff Lacy is in the same book as Miranda a very limited fighter with everything they do revolving around their power. Once power is out of the equation those fighters have nothing else to fall back on and that **** is sad.

                      well said...

miranda's biggest flaw in my opinion is his boxing skills and techniques. i know he's got a chin and a ton of heart...and if the ref didnt stop it when he did for the pavlik fight miranda would have got up again...you could see it in his eyes...he had no intention of staying down for the count...

if he improves his actual boxing skills...he will be amazing...
