So what is the deal with this guy? He is not listed in the P4P rankings (at least by The Ring's standards) but he is 40-0-1, with that draw being a third round clash of heads. He also avenged that draw with a very wide UD over him later. He also beat Juan Manuel Marquez by a fairly wide UD as well... so how is it that a guy is undefeated, has held onto the WBA featherweight title for a long time, and has a win over the #3 P4P fighter in the world, and still manages not to even be at least #10 in the P4P rankings? Anyone have any thoughts?

Chris John looked like the average fighter he is when he fought Marquez, it was a straight up robbery. Even the Filipinos on this forum that have seen it feel the same way.

Hmm, well I hadn't seen the fight, so I was just curious.

Even so, I don't think John is from the Philipines, he is from Indonesia I thought.

Does anyone remember where JMM was on the P4P list before the Barrera fight? Also, where was Barrera previous to that fight on the list?
