John is Indonesian, not Filipino. Why would they care if he won or not? He is undoubtedly very talented. Maybe you guys think the only fighters in the world come from Mexico and the US.

wtf are you talking about, we're just saying he got a home town decision over Marquez, Marquez beat him clearly, he needs to fight in the U.S.

I got a vdo of this fight. Very close contest, could've gone either way, a pick 'em kinda fight. John kept his distance with the long jab on JMMs face, occasionally potshotting him with right straights. He was on his bike all night, frustrating Marquez. However, imo, JMM landed the harder, cleaner, more meaningful punches. He was the aggressor, but i give credit to John for controlling the tempo of the fight, he had ring generalship.

I had JMM winning by SD, but since he's the visiting challenger and he really didn't dominate John as he should to take away his belt, i reckon the judges gave it eventually to the home champion. so i wasn't really surprised by the decision, that's normal, i guess...that's just the nature of the beast.

                  That was a total robbery.

Marquez landed more punches, threw more punches, and was the aggressor. There were rounds where John only threw 15-20 punches.

Not only were the punch stat numbers throughout the fight so overwhelming in Marquez's favor, but outside of the point deductions John only won 2 or 3 rounds tops.

Dude John was just flicking a few arm jabs in the later rounds on a bicycle while Marquez was landing. I don't see how just running and being inactive is going to win you the fight. He wasn't the least bit accurate with his punches either.
