I said they have to be more evasive,

The handspeed varies according to weight sometimes, but the the rate/speed at which you see the punch doesnt.
But their weight(or lack of significant one) helps them literally move thier body faster. I understand your argument with seeing the punch(as I assume you were using it)
, but let's use this example: two guys are being punched with a straight jab, one is 175 pounds and another is 125 pounds, they see it at the same time, who do you think will be able to evade it quicker? I say the small guy, given that they both are trained at the same level and their ability is the same.

p4p is supposed to list the ten best fighters. But, wins and losses, that's what you base it on. You can say Joel Casamayor didn't lose, but then something like the p4p debate gets even MORE opinionated. Moreso then it already is. He have to go with what the judges say. As far as why someone LIKE him wouldn't be on there is because he hasn't beaten anyone besides CHICO, lately. The people on the list are there because they beat OTHER people who were on the list, or were close to lists. You get on the list due to wins/losses and accomplishments. Not to mention, the upside you hold as a fighter.

It depends how quick the punch throw at them is, but yes, i see your point, and i have little problem with it.

Well, I meant that the punch is thrown at them at the same speed.

It depends what speed that punch is tho, if its a realatively slow one, they would most likely dodge it at the same speed, as the smaller guy wouldnt need to be that fast to aviod the punch, but this is nit picking and i see your point,

At the end of the day it depends on the individual fighter i think, and that what the p4p list is about, identifying strength and weakness in a individual fighters, Roy Jones could probably dodge a punch faster than quite a few guys at 125.
