    yeah we was different...

but he's still good...and for his age he's great...not many people at 42 fight anymore...and the ones that do arent very good...but bhop still has it...not to the extent of when he was in his prime but he's not fallen off the wagon though...he's not stuck fighting on crappy cards on FNF or WNF...he's still good enough to get the PPV cards...that tells you something...

while he may be out of his prime he's still a force in the sport.

He'd fallen off wagon at middleweight. Did you see Anorak's Hopkins Eastman highlight video?

or unfortunate enough to see the fight in it's entiriety?

he is an impressive 40 years old, but Taylor barely gettin two wins (a gift and a win according to many) from him are not a claim to him beating any prime undisputed MW champions fomr the past.

I already made a list of those with which he could deal with, and that's very much not la creme of middleweight history.

Would you pick Taylor to beat any of the following

        Hopkins (prime)
        Toney
        Nunn
        Hagler
        Monzon
        Tiger

        ?

Would you pick Taylor to beat the following beltholders-contenders from the not-so-distant past:

        Jones Jr.
        McCallum
        Hearns
        Benn
        Eubank
        McClellan

        ?

Nope, but I think he'd beat Frank Tate and Micheal Olajide...well they held belts at middleweight.

Hugo Corro was the real champ. Taylor would outbox him. He could beat belt holders like Dewitt, Abraham, Benn, Holmes, Joppy, Eubank etc.
(Yes, I said Benn and Eubank)

I don't know every middleweight champ but I doubt he's the worse. Hopkins beat fighters who moved up in weight. Taylor beat Spinks and Ouma. Hopkins beat Trinidad and Oscar. Taylor's only made 3 defenses. If he was gonna stay at 160 he would still need 10 or more to be near Hopkins or someone like that.

              Hopkins had ****ty defenses.

So Hugo Corro is the one name we have and that's somebody not a whole lot of people probably knows much about being that all but few of his fights were in Argentina, the other couple in Italy.

I havn't seen him fight so I dont know if Taylor could beat him or not. And for f**k sake I dont care about your assesments of anything except is there any modern middleweight champion that Taylor could beat.

This isn't a Hopkins Taylor debate. If you think Jermaine Taylor is a better middleweight champion than Hopkins fine. I disagree.

There is a number of beltholders Taylor would beat, I agree with that.
