Mayweather: "Mosley Knocks Cotto Out Cold"

Sounds to me like Floyd is hoping Mosely wins so he has an excuse not to fight Cotto. A couple of months ago, he was saing Mosley was nothing more than a sparring partner and now he say he would consider fighting him. It's funny to me also when he says Cotto is beatin guys he has already beaten, when he beat an old way past his prime Gatti that Oscar had destroyed years before. Not to mention fighting Judah after he had been beaten by Tsyzu,Spinks and Baldomir. This guy is a ****ing clown. You notice he didn't say anything about fighting Cotto if he wins.

Floyd would rather fight the older past his prime Mosley rather than fight the young and upcoming in his prime Cotto. I like Mosley but he is not what he used to be and he's over 30. Like I said a few months back he was calling Mosley a sparring partner.

Saying Cotto will get knocked out is the easy answer. His chin will always be in question for his non believers. I can understand that.

Yeah that shouldn't certainly case in every fight, but I think the 1 person who is aggressive and fast enough to keep hitting Cotto is Shane.

Both guys should absorb some punishment, but down the stretch when Cotto gets strong.......that's going to do one of two things.

Either

A.) Incite a brawl between the two.

B.) Open Cotto up to counter opportunities when overly aggressive.

I think it's Win/Win for Shane, because his hands are really fast.......and he'll be able to find Cotto with crosses.

A 6'0 fighter can negate Mosley's punching when they fight tall. Cotto can't fight tall against Shane because he's the shorter man. That puts literally tons of pressure on Cotto's defense.

It's hard in my estimation for Cotto to defend someone who's moving laterally throwing jabs then a right......leading with the left and circling with the jab......just finding distance for a big Right Hand.

Floyd is over 30 too... and it's not like Shane has been involved in a ton of all-out wars that would take all of his skill out of him early. I don't get what you are trying to say? Are you saying he is shot because Mayweather said he is? Mayweather likes to talk ****, simple as that. If everything Floyd said were true, then boxing would be a HELL of a lot different.

i think mayweathers being realistic. imo cottos a lot easier fight for him so no altirier reason for him picking mosley.the smaller paulie went 12 with cotto. mosleys a big welter and can take anything cotto throws.
not that cottos heart could pull him thru to a decision but feel mosley with his dad training him will show up bigtime for this one.
