I don't think it was either boring or a great fight, I think it was a good fight.

Just watch the Hopkins/Wright fight, those 2 are elites as you can get and it was a more boring fight then Williams/Margarito.

So a great fight does not nessecesary turn you into an elite fighter.

Lets be honest, Junito has been pampered through his whole career by HBO and Bob Arum.

He didn't say they aren't elite BECAUSE the fight was boring, just that they aren't elite and the fight was boring.

You're right Hopkins-Wright was kind of ugly, but that was expected.

I don't know, he fought the guys he should have, boxers, punchers, fast guys, fading names, up and comers.

You're being a little unreasonable, you have to see that fighting Williams at this point is pointless. You just like the long-armed black man b/c you associate the long appendages . . . .

Well Williams is definitely elite and Margarito proved he's tough mother ****er.

KayGay do you think Junito is elite??

i didnt sya they had to have a great fight to be elite....

and hopkins aint elite to me, basically him, caballero and williams are similar, they are successful because of their physical assets and their awkward style, but nothing more....hopkins for example lost to the best 2 big middlewights he faced because he didnt have the physical advantages to impose his style, and winky beat him even while being smaller simply by having a good gameplan taking away hopkins's right hand.....

Not completely sold on Cotto, though I enjoy him and respect him.

Williams isn't that good. He's another one of these sudden hypes that make a stink on the boards, like Miranda last year but a completely different style. In a year he'll be old news

You want a soft-punching southpaw who's elite, follow Chad Dawson, not Paul Williams.
