WRONG. He and his brother were born in California but Donaire Sr relocated them to the Philippines because he didnt trust any boxing gym in northern Cal. and felt they would receive better training there than here. But after collecting some paychecks from prizefighting the Donaire family opened and do most of their training at their boxing gym in San Leandro Cal. under Nonito Donaire Sr's handpicked training staff.

Flash Elorde and Pancho Villa are both Hall of Fame fighters from the Philippines. Dodie Boy and Gerry Penalosa were world champions in the 90s-00s, as well as Rolando Bohol. Luisito Espinosa also crossed over to American audiences, winning world titles at 118-126.

If you don't know enough on the subject, its hard to carry on a conversation on the topic I guess.

why dont you tell it like it is??? deleon's decision victory over Penalosa was the same robbery you claim pacquiao marquez2 to be but backwards. So an old and washed up filipino can box a mexican knockout artist's socks off but not get the W it's a legitimate victory for your mexican fighter but when it's the other way around it's robbery?? You also forgot the fact that as old and washed up Penalosa is he still dropped a highly talented Johnny Gonzalez.

Brian Villoria's always been a bum but Omar Nino still had to take steroids to barely get by him...getting dropped twice in the process.

Pancho Villa isnt just great he is the mold from which all modern mexican boxers are educated. Your "great" mexican fighters would be nothing if Villa didn't pioneer and innovate the sport into what it is today.

You aint gon be doin **** but whine when Donaire knocks out Arce and takes Mijares's belt about how overrated he is.

You are still an ignorant racist who only sees what he wants to see instead of facts. You dont see any Filipinos trying to discredit any mexican fighter's achievements...so quit hatin *****

only you dumb pinoys actually think Penalosa beat De Leon... Just cause he went 12 rounds with De Leon doesnt mean he won...

Nino didnt take steroids, he used drugs before the fight..

And what the **** does Pancho Villa have to do with boxing in Mexico?? No one knows who the **** Villa is, just the REAL Pancho Villa who was a Mexican revolutionary, (funny how he took his name).. Your a ****ing idiot to actually think Pancho Villa had anything to do with boxing in Mexico.. ****** idiot..
