Class from Cotto as always. Oscar also said he'd never fight Mayweather. I don't know what was behind Oscar's statement, but if Cotto beats Mosley and Floyd beats Hatton badly then Oscar would pretty much have to face Cotto. -
de la hoy a is an idiot...he's options are little to nothing....he only wants to fight guys that generate big money who he can beat fairy easily, and the only people who that is, is cotto and hatton...hatton will lose to mayweather, so now that cotto is out of the question he has nobody left.
he dosent want to fight spinks or forest because he might loseComment

That's a load of **** dino, Oscar has never been unwilling to take a risky fight. In fact that's pretty much all he's done for ten years. He wants to put on the big shows, and he's proven that losses don't hurt his business.de la hoy a is an idiot...he's options are little to nothing....he only wants to fight guys that generate big money who he can beat fairy easily, and the only people who that is, is cotto and hatton...hatton will lose to mayweather, so now that cotto is out of the question he has nobody left.

I think dino is right. I don't agree that Cotto and Hatton would be easy to beat, but he DOES want to fight young guys that generate money who he THINKS he can beat. He's said it a million times, he wants someone who is going to stand in front of him. Every time in his career that he has faced a more skilled boxer than himself he has lost, and now that his ahtletic abilities are diminishing (not to mention he hasn't beat a credible opponent since Vargas), he wants to go out looking good. That's a load of **** dino, Oscar has never been unwilling to take a risky fight. He made it clear he doesn't want to fight another slick boxer, but that to me doesn't rule out Cotto or any other boxer/puncher, brawler or swarmer who has a shot at beating him. The problem is I think he will beat any current guy 147-154 who stands in front of himI think dino is right. You got it all wrong. He fight guys that generate big money but ur wrong about the easy part. If you were Oscar and u were ur own promoter, wouldn't u like big money fights. After all there is less of a cut when he fights compared to other fighters cuz he owns his own promotional companyhe only wants to fight guys that generate big money who he can beat fairy easilyComment

Uh, yeah, because Sturm was very risky (even though I think he lost to him). Also, how much of a risk to him were Gatti, Castillejo, Campas, and Mayorga? These weren't very risky, either. That's a load of **** dino, Oscar has never been unwilling to take a risky fight. In fact that's pretty much all he's done for ten years.
