It will definitely be in Vegas, probably the MGM Grand.

How do you figure he didn't have a choice? America was somewhat embracing him because he robbed of a silver medal in the olympics I believe in 1996. Then on plane ride with Ray Leonard and De la Hoya they both told he could take the path that they both took to fame, acceptance and fortune. As both would later say PBF CHOSE not to take that path. SO what the **** are you talking in saying PBF had no choice? I like PBF as do a whole lot of other people I know. I as well as a few of my friends traveled to Vegas to see his fight with De la Hoya. Some people do like him maybe more dislike him but he has fans and haters.Comment

If they wanted to accommodate more Brits, they can hold it at Thomas & Mack. It holds 18,000 and it's right near the strip. The casino can still be the official sponsor of the fight, and would pay a reduced site fee.
They can still hold the presscons and weigh-in at MGM or Mand Bay, or wherever.Comment

**** Hatton. Hatton is trying to be a ***** because it could be the 1st time in his career that the crowd isnt 95% Hatton fans. Everyone knows that the Casinos is where all the money comes from along with PPV sales. ****in, tickets dont matter much. Hatton just wants the whole England to come. Like I said, it would impress me one time for him or Calzaghe to have 1 fight where they dont have a 95% crowd. Thats when you show how good you are.
Sure, Floyd hasnt left the US but the US is totally different then England. In all of Floyd's fights its basically a even crowd and alot of times he is the big underdog as far as the crowd goes. Hatton has never fought like that and he never will. Cotto is nearly doing the same thing now by having all his fights in NY. Fight somewhere when the whole crowd isnt behind you and then I would love to see how they react
DLT, this is the first time I have to tell you, and iam negatively surprised by it:
this post is crap. It's ****** from whichever angle you look at it.Comment

My basis for claiming that Hatton is smarter comes not from the interviews I've seen of them both where PBF often trips over his phrases, makes statements that make virtually no sense whatsoever and often struggles to speak in a very fluent manner. Maybe he's just not a good public speaker, but that is a half-decent indication of intelligence. How do you know this? The bold is a statement of hate because of the character that PBF displays when he is promoting a fight. Other than that you don't know what he is really like as a person with the camera off when he is around people like his kids and grandmother. Yall need to realize part of boxing is entertainment and he chose to be the arrogant villian and I see no problem with that. Most people who hate on arrogant people are only mad because that can't really pull that off themselves. The same PBF that alot of yall hate on for trash talking a fighter before they fight never give him credit when after the fight PBF praises that fighter and has nothing negative to say about said fighter. Yall just love to hate PBF. Would Superman be good without Lex Luthor, or Spiderman without the Green Goblin, or Batman without the Joker? Arrogant villians are needed for the story line. Some people are just to dumb to realize that its all a act. Look at Deion Sanders when he in front of the camera as a player or pre-game commentator he is arrogant about his abilities but when they did a special on him Nate Newton said that every week Deion Sanders went and spent time at a old folks home and never wanted media coverage or to many people know he did that. People are different in front of cameras than when they are not. Stop making judgements about people who you only know one side of its ******.Comment

This sounds like a good idea. There has been a few fights there over the last year.If they wanted to accommodate more Brits, they can hold it at Thomas & Mack. It holds 18,000 and it's right near the strip. The casino can still be the official sponsor of the fight, and would pay a reduced site fee.

Thomas & Mack Center will do it. I'm going to ring them now and book the venue.Comment

I don't think that is what you are basing it on. I believe that you are basing it on something else.Comment

i was getting the same impression. the fact that this is even an issue in the first place is ****ing ****** let alone trying to argue about which fighter is smarter based on interviews meant to sell fights.
I dont know pbf nor do i know hatton, who is more "intelligent'' has little to no bearing on anything at all.Comment
