If you can't spell one of the most famous stadiums in world then don't type, ever.

Who cares where it takes place? It's where it ends up that matters. My sneaky su****ion is it'll be in the neurological ward of the nearest hospital, with a frail Mayweather being taught how to walk again in a comedy adult nappy.

It should be at the Embassy Club - Bernard Mannings old club.

There is no way Mayweather will fight in England. He doesn't want to be 'McLellaned'

There are already 20,000 ticket prices on some ticket broker websites and the damn things are not even on sale and there is no venue set. I think Hatton's camp is worried that a lot of regular people, like his fans, may get left out in the cold.
yeah, the only crappy thing about a fight like this, no matter where it is the tickets are going to get bought up the same way and the same thing is going to happen.

there is enough room here in vegas, they have big places and they can make arrangements to accommodate, the thomas and mack center would be a good one, and although i don't think that they want to do it outside in dec. but there is also the silverbowl out here, sam boyd stadium. i don't think that they will take that option. what it boils down to is where they could make the most money, and as usual vegas draws a lot of money.

in the mandalay bay, mgm, orleans areana, they all hold roughly 17-20k seats, when you go to fights at the mgm no matter how big it is, they don't use all the seats, they have usually a back section blacked out, but i'm sure that section isnt going to hold all that wants to go.

but back to the fact at hand, a fight with this kind of demand, the tickets are going to get bought up by "brokers" and "big wig celebs" sad to say that is the way it works. credit card companies buy up tickets, casinos buy up tickets, all before the public gets a chance, talk about ****ed.

but as far as the fitting a fight of this magnitude in vegas, it can easily be done, this fight isnt bigger then the tyson fights that vegas has held, or any of the great fights during the 80's held outside at ceasars when they didn't have all the facilities that we have now. the bottom line is the money. they can easily take it somewhere else, but i think that they'll make due with what they have and maximize it to the fullest. vegas would be smart to keep the fight in town...........

Lets be serious, its going to be in Vegas.

I was more interested in reading how Hatton is going over to America next month to start a publicity tour. I think that we're going to be hearing quite a lot of favourable things about Hatton from over there in the next few weeks. He's going to become a very popular guy.

**** Hatton. Hatton is trying to be a ***** because it could be the 1st time in his career that the crowd isnt 95% Hatton fans. Everyone knows that the Casinos is where all the money comes from along with PPV sales. ****in, tickets dont matter much. Hatton just wants the whole England to come. Like I said, it would impress me one time for him or Calzaghe to have 1 fight where they dont have a 95% crowd. Thats when you show how good you are.

Sure, Floyd hasnt left the US but the US is totally different then England. In all of Floyd's fights its basically a even crowd and alot of times he is the big underdog as far as the crowd goes. Hatton has never fought like that and he never will. Cotto is nearly doing the same thing now by having all his fights in NY. Fight somewhere when the whole crowd isnt behind you and then I would love to see how they react

The Thomas and Mack center seats 19,522 for boxing events: read it on their page.

I don't see why that's not enough people since the Staples Center seats a maximum of 18,997 for basketball and the T&M center fits 18776 for basketball (I couldn't find boxing capacity so I'm comparing basketball). They seem close enough to me that it is not worth moving it out of Las Vegas for.

Nope, if they're woried about capacity, they should hold it in Manchester.

Hatton wasn't always famous and popular. He was up against a hostile crowd against Tony Pep and Jonathan Thaxton in London. Also Hatton fought a fair few times in the US before he became a world-class fighter. Now he is tremendously popular, and good for him. He paid his dues.

Come on now, you know thats not the same. Thaxton was a bum, Pep was 37 years old and a career 130 pounder, and all his 3 early fights in the US were against nobodies. 2 of the guys had a record of 1-2 and 2-2. Thats not the same as fighting a highly skilled fighter with the crowd against you. I wouldnt even mind if the crowd was even. I just hate it when guys have fights when they have 95% of the crowd because I dont think you can get the full test. If a Pro Sports team played every game at home all year then they would probally always win the title if there decent.
