All press is GOOD press though.. The arguments keep the passion flowing between fights..
When I was On ESB .. one of the writers there told me Don King Himself Trawled the internet for opinions.. and That it was one of the reasons That Briggs and Kiltschko almost happened..

Govner, I love the internet era, it's just that I've never hated this many boxers in my life.

You're very knowledgeable for a n00b! You're good student of the sport and I appreciate that.

Boxing was "dead" over 250 years ago during the corrupt days of Jack Slack, Bill Stevens, George Meggs, etc., and the proclaimations of it being "dead" have been made in just about every generation since then, so none of us boxing fans will ever have anything to worry about when it comes to getting our boxing fix, and neither will our children, grand children, great grand children, and right on down the line.

"They say that history is the greatest of all teachers and the tale of past deeds define who we are in the present, and what we shall be in the future." - Well, I can't remember who said that but it's fitting

I think that the Internet has definitely had an affect on boxing eg.The Rjj - Tito signing video on this site and in that video there was a reference to putting it on youtube. So maybe it's affecting decision making as far as matchups but it sure has on the maketing.

                  cheers Cleetus

Gonzaga and Couture are fighting for the HW title Aug 25th and they've been all over the place doing interviews together. Dana has spoken a little bit as well about the next event. stop speaking out of your ass.

Damn, there won't ever be a day when haters won't keep MMA out their ****ing mouths. I don't disrespect golf because I don't like it.

example: Trinidad and RJJ announcement got 10 seconds time on sportscenter by a spanish lady doing her deportes report...when a UFC event or fight is talked about they do it for a while. stop hating.
