I believe Barrera won the fight against JMM clearly, and I support his right to ignore the rematch. At this point in his career it is best to stick to what truly motivates Marco. I doubt he really wanted to fight R Juarez twice, but somehow he was under so much pressure to do so because it was a "close" fight.

So what if it was a "close" fight? A win is still a win. I personally feel that the hype from the first Juarez fight, and the decision in the JMM fight was created to keep Barrera busy while Oscar Feuded with Arum. It just seems like it was all about anything other than fighting Pac-man again, unless you were talking about the most hardcore fans.

I think it was closer that what the judge put the score. maybe +-1 point difference between them without the point deduction. When he hit Marquez when he was down he was shouting something to him if you notice it, anybody got an idea?

Another thing about Barrera he was somewhat taking some round full control e****ally the early rounds. and there was something freaky in the 9th or 10th round the number of punchs Barrera-Marquez thrown was exactly the same it was like 529 for both and Barrera connect by only one punch more in connect punch. kinda weird what Lampy called it a tennis match

i remember that, barrera and JMM were both in there corners, i think it was the 9th or 10th round and when that statistic came up i couldnt beleive it, they were basically equal, they both threw a combined punch output of about 562 punches, barrera threw 282 and marquez threw 280 or something like that, talk about fighters having an even fight. they were basically dead equal!!!!!! kinda scary

i thought i was the only person who thought barrera won his fight with JMM, i scored it 7 rounds to 5 for barrera, but because he got the point deducted, i scored it 6 rounds to 5. but it was a close fight and it was never as wide as the judges saw it. barreras only meaningful fight left for him is pacquiao. he dont need JMM again, his defining fight at this late stage of his career is pacman, barrera has faced EVERYBODY in his divisions and has ducked no one. i think after pacman, win or lose, barrera will probably want 1 more fight in Mexico, he has always said he wanted to fight there before he retires.

Someone also feels they didn't win.
i think marquez won the fight

i saw the post fight interview, he was sayin that the ref didnt stop him after he knocked down marquez so he continued to fight, sayin he is mexican and when he smells blood, he goes in for the kill or something like that, he was also sayin that he thought he won the fight, the judges were bad and he just wants a vacation with his family and was not sure if he was coming back to the sport. he also said that the decision he got against marquez was worst than his decision he got against morales in there first fight!!!!
