To tell the truth tyson really didn't fight anyone ELITE in his prime, the moment he did he got squashed by evander. That being said, in his prime he would squash tua, period.

Tua might very well have more natural upper body power from being well the naturally bigger man, but Tyson was a vastly superior puncher with both hands. Tyson was considerably faster, better conditioned, and even at his most robotic and lazy was a much more accomplished and disciplined fighter. Forget chins, Tyson was a tight bobbing defensive fighter that even long quick handed fighters had trouble finding while Tua could be pretty stationary and flat footed. There is more to boxing than this magical chin thing that I would like to see the exact science of measuring. Remember, Tyson has dropped people that haven't been koed before or sometimes even since. How does that wager into this equation? Bah to this half assed analysis.

Yeah, what's the big deal about Larry Holmes only ko loss in his entire career? Not to mention he went on to fight elite guys years down the road and still never got blasted like that.

The big deal is Larry was old and a shell of his former self that would have jabbed Tyson into submissin in his prime.......He was actually the first IMO to expose the fact that a good slick boxer with a decent chin and reflexes which Larry no longer had when he fought Tyson would be able to beat Tyson easily someday......Tyson was feared and intimidating but never really beat an elite HW IMO.

Now the old old past prime Holmes, Then WE must forget the other legend hes beaten, or at least son of a legend in Marvis Frazier, Tysons resume is really tough seing he fought almost every week in 87 and 88 , about 16 times a year vs no tomato can fighters from the street, only top guys that were not guys out the streets , no, they were top guys, not getting looked to get kod in 1 round, just top guys, just like that guy who lost but he was so great in 88 , he was labeled 'dinomite fist without any power' that tyson beat in 88
