It's a shame Tua spent his time thinking about hitting Lewis, instead of just trying to hit him. He'll die wondering. At least Hassim threw one and look what happened.

100% correct, i've been saying the same thing for years. if a prime tua fought a prime tyson, tua would have had ko'd mike before the 8th round. tua has a granite chin and natural brute strength that is and was far beyond tysons, the only thing that tyson had over tua and everyone he fought in his prime was his speed, coupled with his power, tyson hit hard as ****, but his power dissipated as the fight went on, tua's power in either hand was the same from the opening bell to the final bell if his opponents could make it that far.

people are easily duped by the timing and the marketing of mike tyson when it comes to comparing their power. lets put it in perspective if tua was in tysons place growing up and got the attention like tyson did coming up, people would be saying that you would be crazy to think tyson hd the same power as tua, but since tyson was first to appear on the scene and the time he arrived tyson was made a household name throughout the world. tyson had great power, speed, and boxing ability, but the power and chin aspect of it all tua has the edge. tua has one punch ko power in either hand with any punch at any time of the fight, tyson only had it for the first 4 rounds. and when it comes to chin there is no real comparison, tua has and had the far better chin throughout. look at the facts don't be blinded by the mystic of tyson being everyones childhood hero, he was a hero to me when i was growing up, but that facts are there for all to see if you look with an unbiased eye.............

I guess this means that Maskaev hits harder than both of them, since he could stop Rahman and Tua couldn't either time they fight. Makes sense...

Don't be silly, tua would never have beaten a fat 39 year old larry holmes.

I'm not saying it was Tua's prime but him losing to chris byrd at that stage in his career? Mike tyson would tear him apart

He lost to Chris Byrd because he was a defensive fighter. Tyson is the type of fighter that Tua would have done very well against.

Tua is never going to be an all time great because the only thing he has to depend on is his power. Depending on one's strength could be very deadly at times.

tua was probably stronger and almost certainly had more power BUT
he was no where near as quick as tyson or ass skilled. tyson is a far superior fighter in almost evey way
