Ibeabuchi's career was cut short in 2001 when he was convicted of raping an exotic dancer and was sentenced 5 to 30 years in prison at the Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada. Ibeabuchi had barricaded himself and the woman in a hotel room, and the police needed to use tear gas to subdue him [1]. He was denied parole in August 2004 and will not be eligible for another hearing until August 2007 [2].

i hope they let Ike out and he is as good as he was when he went away. The guy definetly would be amongst the top ranked hw's if he's as good. he could take Chagaev's place in the division. The one thing I hope he does for his fight is fight someone actually good, don't pull a bowe or a mesi and fight a chump because he's really getting up there in age
