Dundee may not have wanted Sugar Ray Leonard to do all that stuff but he sure as hell didn't want him fighting toe to toe with Duran which would be him fighting Duran's fight which is why he lost the 1st fight.

I recall Angelo asking Ray to box more. I saw the fight live on closed circuit (before our area even had cable - had to go to an arena to watch it) TV. Since I lived in Maryland, Ray was one of ours and we were stunned to see him not box.
