Tye Fields, Future Heavyweight Champ Wins Again!

Another Fields win tonite, and impressive 7th round stoppage over Domonic Jenkins. Fields has everything going for him, and if anyone is going to bring life to the Heavyweight division, its him.
Id pick either Fields or W. Klit to unify the belts.

yeah, on another i post i said that fields would beat rahman, i retract that after seeing tonights fight. i've seen fields fight a few times and he wasn't nearly as sloppy and open as he was in this fight, i think he might be regressing, unless he just didn't have any respect for his opponent and left his guard down all night.

i'm not a fan but he might have a chance at beating fringe contenders and veterans if he tightens up his defense and shorten up his punches a bit. that and learns how to fight tall. any way the guy needs a lot more work and focus on his defense in his attack, and he should be further along then where he is even with a record like that of a **** ton of bums. fields should have some kind of polish to him, he's way green still. tougher competition and a better trainer and fields might be able to step it up to B level B+ level fighters, maybe.

Valuev and Fields should fight. It would be two huge guys going at it. Even though Fields would get his ass handed to him it would crazy to see two guys that tall fight each other.

Dude looked like he was playing patty cake in there, I hope he gets fed to chris "the Nipple" Areolla Or Eddie Chambers they would both retire this overated hype Job.

I would acctually favor Malcohm Tann against this Primo Carnera wannabe

the bottom line is that is an above average heavyweight due almost completely in part to his size. people are being way too hard on him here, he is what he is and i dont see him talking **** or claiming to be anything he is not.

furthermore, look at fields boxrec. he came in 13 pounds lighter than his last fight and standing at 6'9 if he weighs in at 257 thats pretty damn good shape. eary in his career he looked like a bodybuiler but at this point he looks like is committed to as least seeing how far he can go and unlike guys like rahman he is apprently training pretty damn hard to at least put himself in the best position.

rahman came into the sykes fight at 261

fields just fought at 257... and hes 6 inches taller at least

if you actually think rahman beats him in that same shape youre nuts
