I remember someone on East Side boxing going to the trouble of counting the punches landed by Calzaghe in the fight and I think they came to a figuire of around 450,so 557 is a huge overshoot
I agree, 1007 is a ridiculous number. I can't see how that statistic could be true.

That has to be some sort of ****ing record. I mean, Antonio Margarito holds the record for punches thrown with 1600 some, and I know he wasn't landing at a 62.5% of his punches (which would be 1000 out of 1600).

Apparantly he is going to double his punches landed against Kessler

I don't hate Calzaghe, but if you are going to talk ****, at least do so in a reasonable, realistic manner.
Is there a punchstat for 'slaps"?

Patty cake, Patty cake, baker's man. Calzaghe needs to learn to use his fist not his hand.He continues to slap like the ***** that he is.

You have the fight then? I've been kind of curious how one-sided the numbers were on that fight. If you could post them, that would be sweet.

Calzaghe is GOAT man, look at the number of punches he throws, just imagine if his hands weren't so fragile, he would be unstoppable.

Bull****, Omar Shieka didn't do anything but hug Lacy the whole time in that fight. I saw no robbery, Omar fought like a ***** and earned that loss on his record.

How do you think the brain of Calzaghe and Kessler works? Do you think Calzaghe and Kessler will come into the ring fighting their normal style? Or do you think they will come in fighting a different style to throw off their opponent? Like, I wonder how they are studying each other right now. Do you believe they are watching tapes of each other trying to find openings on each other?
