He could be losing power by draining himself to lose weight, very possible. It would also explain why he is eager to move up. I mean look at Miguel Cotto in his last fight at 140 against Paulie, i give Pualie credit for going 12, but i think Cotto making weight comfortably would have stopped him.

I dont think Jermains got KO power,i cant remember the last time he actually hurt someone,he fought a small Ouma, who had previously been knocked down many times in his career,Jermain landed the clearest shots on Oumas chin,Ouma walked thru them like it was nothing,he couldent knock out Spinks but Zab did,i dont care if Spinks ran or fought,if a JR Welter like Zab could catch up with him and KO him,a 6'2 natural middleweight Jermain definatly could

Jermaine Taylor has been fighting alot of Blown up junior middleweights and welterweights thats why he scored alot of knockouts.

Anybody that knows the significants of weight in boxing knows that when you move up in weight, the punches hurt even if your fighting light punchers because your not use to getting hit by fighters of a higher weight then your use to fighting.

Spinks doesn't have a great chin to not be hurt Judah put him out. And Taylor inactivity and resistance to brawl and throw punches was not him deciding to box. He just couldn't do ****.

Taylor might be the target of a lot of critics but you still have to respect him because he's building one of the best resumes out there.

I only repsect his humbleness. His resume is controversial. And some of the decision of those fights I can't respect. I can give him credit for fighting name opponents though.

Well it's not really his fault the decisions got controversial, the judges are to blame for that, but he's shown he can hang with anybody. People wanted him to fight Pavlik and there you go. Some people might have lost respect for him when he said "I'll fight Pavlik for the most money" but hey, most people would do that too, after all he's a pro.

No,Taylor's Quality of Opposition has just RISEN...

Against UNDERSIZED Journeyman like Raul Marquez,Daniel Edouard, etc., Taylor Appeared to have GENUINE KO Power...But even Against TRUE Middleweights like Joppy,Jermain's Power Seemed to DIP....

Sure,he DROPPED Joppy, but Joppy Also Went the Distance...

& Since Jermain has Fought ELITE Middleweights & ELITE Jr. Middles(Bernard,Winky,Ouma,Spinks) his Pop HASN'T Hardly Been There @ All...

                  Jermain ISN'T Featherfisted,but REED Wouldn't Rate Taylor Much Higher than a "7" on a "10" Scale,N Terms of POWER....
