You are demonstrating your ignorance of the sport.

Challenge: tell me all the boring PBF fights when he was fighting guys his own size. Baldomir and Delahoya were much bigger.

Tell me all the "boring" PBF fights before November, 2006.

I know MANY blacks that backed DLH and more so, oppose Floyd on a regular. His being black I am sure is not the factor, more so his persona which is all fabricated to sell.

It's not always about race, you know.
Where do you live? Not to brag or sound gangsta, but I live and associate with the hood on a daily basis. I know who they go for. Most of these dudes know Floyd from the Zab fight, didn't watch or know about the Baldomir fight and all of a sudden discredited DLH's entire career and went with Floyd. Makes me question them.

Lol, why do you think all the blacks went with Williams instead of Margarito? Why did the mexicans root for Margarito instead of Williams?
Why are whites going with Hatton and the blacks that never heard of Hatton will all of a sudden go with Mayweather for the win?

Combat sports will always be filled with racism and/or racial backing. Get with the program.

Here's another one, LOL why was Zab(the guy with zero composure against a pressure fighter) favored by blacks and Cotto favored by PR?

RACISM/RACIAL BACKING is very much relevant in boxing.

Sounds about right to me... You can call it what you want unless the person is liek your favorite, favorite fighter, many fight fans always draw color lines...

What you saying about race is not just combat sports that **** is all walks of life. I see no problem with it. Root who you want to root for, for whatever reasons. The same goes for life as well.

What the hell are you talking about? If Chris Byrd, John Ruiz, Paul Spadafora, Paul Malinaggi and a bunch of other boxers have fans why wouldn't mayweather have fans? Mayweather is the truth, he isn't a brawler (you know they have those in boxing) he isn't an in fighter ( you have those in boxing too), he isn't a power puncher (you also have those in boxing)... He is a boxer "get it" and a good one at that... that's why people love boxing and other martial arts, because you don't have to be the biggest baddest mo fo and you can still whoop ass and be a champ... so why don't you try giving the champ some respect...

No ****... he looked by far the best at 135 and 140. Watch the Philip N'dou or Arturto Gatti fight and tell me he is boring. I bet Antonio Margarito (since he is VIVA MEXICO!!!'s favorite fighter) would be boring if he moved up to 175 at light heavyweight... that would be 4 weight classes higher than where he started, which is where Mayweather fought De La Hoya... hell, I'd bet that he would be boring at 168. He would either try to box and move to win, or get knocked the **** out. Those are the options when you move up higher than your physical strength allows you to. You have to consider who the fighter is facing before you judge them as a coward. Let's see Marco Antonio Barrera stand toe to toe with Nikolay Valuev. It just doesn't ****ing happen that way.

ALL the backs did not. I never said racism did not exist. I said it's not the controlling factor in EVERYONE'S decision making process, as you so eloquently put it.

No matter what you say, you have not been exposed to everything nor have you been everywhere. You may be accurate in your statements as they concern those you know, but unless I am incorrect I will assume you do not know everyone.

I will state I am not from anything like nor near the hood. I live in a suburb that is over 88% white and less than 12% black AND most, not all, but most of the white guys I know LOVE PBF.

I dated a hispanic man that loved PBF. Everyone does not allow racial ties to dictate whether they are allegiant to a specific fighter. JMO.
