IF Floyd stops the great Ricky Hatton, is PBF the GOAT?

Ricky Hatton is bigger, younger and stronger than PBF. Hatton hits harder than Floyd. RH applies non-stop pressure for a full 12 rounds. Ricky is in his prime and will be in fantastic shape.

Hatton is a devastating bodypuncher who wore down the great Kostya Tszyu, and stopped Castillo on a brutal bodyshot.

If Floyd is able to dominate and KO/TKO this monster, does that mean PBF belongs in the discussion of GOATs?

Yes, IMO PBF would be goat IF he beats Hatton, Ricky is not bigger than PBF, he's 5'6, has shorter reach, will probably weigh less, he has all the physical disadvantages you can name against Mayweather. I don't understand how Ricky said he was bigger than him when he is significantly smaller.

Ricky is the naturally bigger man. Height and reach don't make you "bigger". Tyson routinely gave up height and reach.

Ricky was at 140 when PBF was at 130. Ricky has WAY more fights at 140+ than PBF does (Ricky = 43, PBF = 7). Ricky walks around at a much higher weight than PBF. And as you mentioned, Ricky himself said that he is bigger and stronger than Floyd.

All of that is questionable. i dont think he is bigger or stronger, hes only younger by a year, and i dont think he hits harder either. Ricky will grab, hug, and hold night. He will get countered and out boxed for a full 12 rounds if anything. The castillio fight dosent even matter to me because castillio was shot as hell and he didnt have anything left. The only thing that i do agree with is the part about Kostya Tszyu. and i think Tszyu was in his mid 30's when they fought.

you are right, he does walk on a higher weight than Mayweather, he actually becomes fat lol. but in fight night, PBF will have bigger physical advantages. ricky might weigh less than 147 because he doesn't wanna lose the speed against Mayweather, where as Mayweather will probably be 147 excactly, he's been training around that weight for a long time now, Mayweather is still pretty damn fast, he won't lose any speed, and he'll have good power. It's gonna be a great ****ing match.

Terms like "Greatest of all time" have to be judged by history, not by contemporaries. Only when we are already halfway through the careers of the next two or three number-one fighters can we make an accurate claim to that. It would be tough for Floyd to be a GOAT anyway because he would be compared with the likes of Ray Robinson who had 200 fights and 173 wins or Henry Armstrong who simultaneuously held the only versions of the featherwight, lightweight and welterweight world championships at a time when there were only 8 weight divisions, and had 180 fights... It would be hard for Floyd to figure as p4p greatest of all time (or any modern fighter for that matter) because promoters have become too good at their jobs.

Greatest of all time is different from Best of all time.

No.. I dont see how his accomplishments would be greater then Ray Robinson.. Ray beat 10 hall of famers.. how many has mayweather beat? like 3 or 4?.. How many people has he beat who were top 10 p4p at the time?

Henry Armstrong gets my vote as GOAT based on record and achievements.
