Our best fighters are like what????? 19 18 years old. Gerry was obscure back then, yall didnt give him a shot till Manny came along. Too little too late. There were alot like Gerry who missed the bus (which Manny P almost missed as well) and didnt realize their full potential and faded with the boxing scene in the P.I.. What now? we got hella young talent and old ones who are just too disadvantaged and set to get to the wild card gym. Hey bro i read the article and i agree.As a mexican im proud to hear pinoys being compared to mexicans.It a compliment to both countries.I really respect pinoy figthers and they are fun to watch.Like roach said there is room for both countries to dominate the lower weights,resulting in great matches between both countries.I still think mexico is at a disadvantege in the world cup though.think about it its like having our best fighters like vasquez,diaz,mijares and r marquez against not so great pinoy fighters.But oh well good luck to both countries.
