I voted 2007, because there are countless great matches in the lower divisions like Cotto-Mosley, PBF-Hatton, Pavlik-Taylor, Calzaghe-Kessler, Pacman-Barrera and a few other which i probably forgot, a lot of great fights happening this year.

Hahahahah. Holy **** I thought about posting this topic sometime soon. Looks like I got beat.

But considering that I became a boxing fan in 2006 I really can't say...

I'm going with the year 2000.

        Trinidad beats Reid and Vargas.

        Mosley beats DLH.

Morales "beats" Barrera (Barrera won imo)

Lewis beats Graham, Botha, and Tua. (Good ol days of Heavy Weight Div)

        Gatti destroys Gamache

        Hamed destroys Sanchez

        Tszyu destroys Chavez

        Plus you guys remember Tyson-Golota...

I dun have good enough to memory to rememeber every fight that happened in each of those years, so I'll vote for 2007 while it's fresh in my memory

I wanted to be original so I voted for 2006, since 2006 had some pretty good fights

              I didn't include 2007 becuase it's not over yet, so I said 2005:

              Mayweather-Gatti
              Trinidad-Wright
              Tszyu-Hatton
              Hopkins Taylor I
              Hopkins Taylor II
              Jones-Tarver III
              Pacquaio-Morales I
              Judah-Spinks II

Oh yeah... and Corrales-Castillo I and II.

That's a pretty tough year to beat, but if the end of 2007 lives up to the hype, it may take the cake.

I'd take 2000 over this year as of now.

                Mosley vs Dlh
                Barrera vs Morales
                Vargas vs trinidad

We have had one fight that may match one of these fights so far. It all depends on how Kessler Joe C Mosley cotto, and Hatton mayweather turn out. but until we put out 3 classics this year, 2000 still gets the nod.

You forgot Hussein vs Arce. That was ****ing brutal.
But i still think 2000 is a tad better...

Damm im in between 02 because of Tyson-Lewis and De La Hoya-Vargas
and the rest i cant remember and this year has been spectacular and we are not done yet so ill say 2007 unless i see other fights that happened in the past years
