most of them are just throwing blindly with absolutely no defense. there are a few exceptions but i believe the stereotypical slugging mexican fighter does little for most boxing purists, because that not boxing its fighting.

Most all boxing writers especially the old school fighters say that chavez was the last real Mexican fighter, at least how they used to fight and pointing to Chavez really says a lot.

Have you seen Ricardo Lopez, or Juan Manuel Marquez, or Rafael Marquez, or Manuel Medina, Daniel Zaregoza the list goes on smart boxers that are not only sluggers. And yes, Mexican fighters do a lot for boxing as does any boxer from any country that comes to fight.
