Besides RJJ and Ottke, there isn't really anybody left he could have gained anything by fighting, except Kessler, and he's doing that now.

Since RJJ, smw has been a European affair, I doubt anybody can make a big name of themselves if they stay in that division as it is.

and who do u think he should fight? he's fighting the only other legit world champion at his weight! If he beats hopkins you'll say he was too old and if he beats winky or taylor you'll say they are too small!

There is no one for JC to fight...
Taylor would come out like Lacy and really not big enough...
Hopkins too old...No point in fighting him..I can hear the excuses now should he win.
        RJJ as above.
        Winky..no chance.

Kessler is the best fight out there..which he is fighting.

He's the best at is weight..no argument..

Instead of you Yanks insisting everyone gets on a plane and fights in your part of the world...Why don't your lads travel abroad...
        Scared or what..?
Go where the money is....More often than not, thats the UK venue with the fight timed for US viewers...in the sake of JC and Hatton..

The argument rubs both ways....Can't use this ..Got to fight in the US or your a bum excuse all the time, if your not prepared to go elsewhere in the world..

I forgot, the US is the world.

Great fighter against weak opposition, but then again, so is Zab Judah. Truth is nobody has any idea how good Calzaghe really is until he beats good fighters and looks good doing it like Mayweather, Pacquiao, Hopkins, Wright and even Hatton have.

Taylor has beat some terrific names but never looked all that great doing it. Yet you won't find a single credible pound for pound list that has Calzaghe higher than him.

No way, against a prime lacy they would not beat him, Librado might have a chance but i would still side with Lacy, I'm sure Lacy could beat Mundine though.

No he hasnt, but that certianly doesnt mean he wont have a big victory in his career.
I expect him to beat Kessler.
