Personally i think vargas looked so horrible vs mosley because he was weight drained slow and sluggish, when you have a training camp that focuses more on losing weight then the opponent thats not a good camp. People forget sense vargas's return he's beaten 2 solid fighters raymond joval and javier casteillejo at MIDDLEWEIGHT, casteillejo later went on to beat felix sturm.

i think if he moves well at 162 he should continue fighting, i think the main reason he's retiring is because he's lazy and likes to eat which is why i hope this fight dosent make any money. he's gotten rich off 2 fighters now he's running away from the sport because he likes to eat, and i dont like that reason!

        nope...

Mayorga and him are both damaged goods.

De La Hoya and Trinidad ruined them both.

Is that you in your avatar? If so, it looks like you and Vargas have a lot in common. Fat couch potato slobs who love to eat and drink.

Why is dino showing he lives in a trailer park? Because the only team i see wood paneling like that it's in a trailer park.

Maybe ..It depends on how good he looks in the match.
There are still a few fights that I would like to see him have but sooner or later he will run into another Mosley,Hoya,Trinidad.

I really don't know what his title chances would be right now but
regardless he has still only been beat by the very best of the best.

Even though I'm a Vargas fan I'm gonna have to agree with Dino. It seems to me like Vargas running from boxing and trying to involve himself in another in what to me seem like pipe dreams. (His clothing line, acting, etc. etc.)

Vargas is a boxer, and he should box. Too many people feel that he's a B class fighter, and just a brawler. Vargas is an intelligent boxer, and if he looks good against Mayorga he should continue to fight.

btw, Vargas didn't look bad at all against Castillejo. Vargas actually looked pretty good and probably could've stopped him early.

And to the Winky Wright fan whos just mad his fighter lost to Fernando.. De La Hoya/Trinidad didn't "ruin" Vargas. Those were both great fights with Fernando. They both ruined Mayorga.
