Solis was a lot slicker than Mayol expected, and even thoough Mayol dropped him he kept his composure and threw a beautiful combination that caught him coming in, Mayol doesn't look like he'll be able to handle slick boxers or big punchers, Solis doesn't seem like a big enough puncher to do what he did.

i read the Mayol was ahead in the score cards but solis got an ace under his sleeve and resulted in the one punch KO...

i only saw the last 2 rounds of this fight. mayol was boxing fine until he got caught by a right hook flush on the chin. i think he didn't saw it coming. he tried to get up but his legs were shaky and the ref had to stop the fight because he couldn't continue anymore.

i think solis was the quicker and stronger fighter from what i saw.

I don't know what the official cards were like but it was by no means all control by Mayol, Solis was boxing him very slick and Mayol's best rounds were later in the fight, especially the 6th but he couldn't close the show.

no bandwagon man, Solis isn't that good. Tonight just showed that neither is Mayol, but Mayol probably has a better future, just not what some were expecting of him.

lol, Solis is a very strong champion and he just proved it against a young upstart...
