No question orales was robbed. However this should still be his last fight. Dias is a one dimentional stright ahead fighter with little speed and no power. He was the perfect opponent for Morales but there is now where else for Eric to go. His legs looked worse than ever,if that is possible, and he claimed to be affected by the punches more this fight than in the past. Also the announcers said he had to lose 7 pounds the day before the fight and it affected his conditioning. He fought a great fight but it is time to retire. He is a legend too bad his last win was robbed from him.

Robbed for sure, no way he lost by them scores for sure. Also thought the Marquez fight was stopped a little premature. I mean at anytime either fighter could have been KO'd, and I know Marquez wasn't throwing alot at the time but he also wasn't hurt as bad as the ref thought. He was a lil wobbly but not stoppage worthy!!!!

I didn't see the fight, but I will when they show it again. Judging by the replies, seems like Morales won.

I dunno, it's hard to see a great legend like Morales lose on his 4th bid at a world title when he tried as hard as he could. He obviously doesn't have the stamina or chin that he used to. He's like Gatti. He can't make 130 and he's not effective at 135lbs, so he's a fighter without a division. He was tactically superior than Diaz and landing the more crisp, accurate punches, but Diaz simply outworked him. The knockdown in the first some say would be scored a 10-9 instead of 10-8 since Morales was losing the round up to the knockdown. I would like to see how that round was scored on the official cards. Eitherway, I dun think Morales was robbed but it was real close fight. Just sad to see Morales go this way. Good effort though.

once again another mexican boxer is robbed in america. this was as bad as the margarito-williams robbery. morales dominated the early rounds and even knocked diaz down. diaz did better second half of the fight but morales still should have got the victory. the american ref and judges were biased because diaz was in his hometown.

I agree with most of what you said.

Even though he won the fight except on the scorecards, it's still time for him to retire. Morales has nothing left.

                Thanks ERIK!
