I didnt see the fight but I ask this because the round by round guy for Boxing Scene made it sound that way. He had Morales winning alot of rounds and after the fight he basically said that Diaz got the decision because it was his hometown and Fran Charles also thought Morales won
Was Morales Robbed?

Didn't see the fight but from everything I read Diaz came on strong in the later rounds and applied a lot of pressure to Morales. I'll have to see the fight before I make a decision but I can't help but wonder if maybe fight fans are letting their heart interfere with their brain on this one. Which I cannot fault as I've done the same as well, and again I haven't seen the fight.
I can't be mad, I bet on Diaz.Comment

I'm sick to my stomach. Morales won clearly it was a close fight like Morales - Manny 1 but the winner was clearComment

I havent seen the fight yet, but judging from what ive been hearing Morales did pretty well...What do you guys think is this enough to convince you all that Morales should give it just one more shot at 135? Maybe a rematch against Diaz?Comment

Judging from all I've heard Morales put forth a great effort against Diaz and I wouldn't be opposed to him fighting Diaz once more. That said I think win, lose or draw that should be his final match as it's apparent that Morales is showing the signs of an aging warrior. He really hasn't looked spectactular since the first Pacquiao fight.
Fight Diaz again, then retire. I'd hate to see Morales strive forward with his career at this stage in the game, especially after him thrilling me so many times over the years.Comment
