Just saw the fight.. The stoppage was 50-50 I guess it was OK.. he also could have let things go on.. vasquaez was not connecting too much in those flurries and I am not so sure he could have kept it up much longer....

Marquez was taking brutal bombs and I personally would've stopped it 5-6 seconds after the ref did, but I ain't arguing.

I wanna see Marquez fight/live another day and I'm sure he does too. Guy had 1:55 left in the round, no way he was surviving.

i dont complain about the stoppage but if they would have let it continue marquez would have gotten knocked out very soon.

I thought it was a good stoppage, maybe a couple seconds early but nothing that should be considered too controversial. Vazquez landed about 10 clean head shots and Marquez only threw a couple punches back and was not really protecting himself. And I wanted Marquez to win, so...
