Johnson will get destroyed as soon as he steps up. He throws his combinations like he's doing bag drills. I dont know how else to describe it. He has a quick up jab, and thats about it. Wills was too out of shape and slow to do anything meaningful. I just cant believe these guys are considered top prospects.

That fight ****** major **** and I only watched the last few rounds.

Both of them are ****ing tomato cans except Johnson is a tomato can with long ass arms but he's still tomato can don't forget.

I'd love to see Peter KO this guy.

Wow... I must have watched a different fight than you guys. I have seen a LOT of boring heavyweight bouts lately, but this was NOT one of them. Wills was dominated but he continued to press, Johnson showed off his great jab, hand speed and mouth.

Just went to google news to read some recaps of the fight to make sure I wasn't crazy, and almost every one used the word "entertaining." At least I'm not the only one that thought so...

Kball, thanks for the scouting report on these guys. I've seen Johnson once about 1-2 years ago and wasn't impressed at all and by the way people are describing him here seems like he's not worth wasting time with..

However Kball, I disagree with your statement that "hw boxing is hopeless" because there are many other talented guys in the division now then there was 3-4 years ago....

The guys at the top of the division right now are sorta good and some are exciting and there are some good fights to look forward to.

And coming up are some exciting guys, but arent really good at all.

But if we need a good Heavyweight division to save boxing... then the whole thing is hopeless.

And it doesnt seems like we will EVER see a good heavyweight division again, at least nothing anywhere near what it was in the 70's. Maybe the 90's heavyweight division will be back in like a decade or so...

American heavyweight boxing is hopeless. Europe is producing great heavyweights like its their job. Apparently they have many great young prospects. Pretty soon they will take over the division completely.

DORAVILLE, Ga. - The popular fistic series ShoBox: The New Generation delivered an exciting night of boxing on Friday, August 3 with heavyweights Kevin “The Kingpin” Johnson and Damian “Bolo” Wills in a fast passed, highly entertaining battle that had the near capacity crowd at Far West Rodeo on their feet for part of the evening. Tony Blair sucks, but British boxers like Hatton, Haye and Calzaghe are awesome.
