    Ponce De Leon vs. Bautista

This to me seems pretty much like a "pick 'em" fight. Ponce De Leon has tremendous power and a pretty solid chin. Bautista is a much-hyped undefeated prospect whom I think has the potential to be a superstar. So who do you think will win?

I really can't come to a solid conclusion yet but I'm leaning more towards Bautista.

I think Bautista ****s him, takes him out maybe in the late rounds.

This is how I see it. Leon is too slow, and Bautista is going to counter him silly.

I am rooting for Bautista to win. But the way he fought against Medina, it might lead to a KO win for Ponce.

I saw a fight of Bautista back in December 2005 and got knockdown. He got up quickly to win a UD.

Against Medina, even though most say he was saved by the ref, after the ref got in between, Boom2x recovered quickly, you see him weeving afterwards. If the ref did not step in between, i believed he would get knockdown, stand up and not get counted out. But the way his fighting, he was using his boxing skills but he was also expoxing his head for punches. I saw this too against Bonilla last year.

Ponce, known to have knockout punches, even though landing hard punches to Gerry Penalosa, did not even knockdown or stagger Penalosa. Don't know how to exactly say this, if(a big if) Medina has a stronger punch than Ponce, then hopefully that Ponce can only flash knockdown Bautista. I am only saying this cuz Bautista did not hurt Penalosa, who is consider the smaller man. If it happens, hopefully Bautista gets up quickly, just like his fight back in December 2005.

In order for Bautista to win, he needs to box. He needs to defend his head. If he hurts Ponce, then he can throw the punches to land the KO punches.

                  its a 50/50 for me...

Ponce has the ring experience while Bautista has the skills.

my prediction, Bautista will KO Ponce in early on the fight.
