I haven't seen enough of Toney to be an expert on this, but I can tell you that Floyd's right hand counter against Philip N'dou to end the fight was so money, where he pulls back from a jab and then throws his whole body weight into his right hand. Incredible. He did the same thing to Gatti a few times. That youtube video of Toney is unreal though, very good shot.
Best Right Hand Counterpunch?

That's all I meant.
And I don't judge Toney by how he performed in the second Peter fight; that Same Peter would beat any smaller man.
Floyd does most things better than anyone else right now, but at his best Toney could sneak counters that you couldn't see coming even on the TV. With Floyd it's a lot easier to see what he's doing, he doesn't surprise me much.Comment

Floyd without a doubt, he has basically become strictly a counter-puncher in the last several years, and since he's the P4P best and his best tactic is to counter punch and he happens to be an orthodox style fighter he must have the best counter right... i mean it kinda fits hand in hand,,.. maybe..,, thats how i look at it atleast....Comment

The incredible thing about Floyd's is that he just stands there looking directly into the eyes of his opponent before he jumps back and jams a right into their face. I mean, it's the most obvious thing I've ever seen in a boxing match, but it still works almost every time, and it has a decent amount of power on it too. I think the fact that it is not a surprise makes it better, because it will always work, whether they see it coming or not.Comment
