I bet if Pac ko'd Marquez in the first round, it's because Marquez was, according to experts, old.

Pac might have fougth out of prime fighters but they are not weak. Can any other fighters in the top 10 do what Pac did to Morales in their 2nd and 3rd fight? Can any other fighters do what Pac did to Morales in their first fight? Can anybody out there(except for MAB), knockdown JMM?

Lets look at Erik Morales past fights. Nothing against him, he fought the best out there and earned my respect. His past opponents:
-Daniel Zaragoza, according to Boxrec, he was born 1957,40 years old while Erik was 21. Zaragoza fough the best during his time.
-Wayne McCullough, 32 at the time he fought Erik. A good fighter but not that great. Lost to Hamed, Zaragoza, and Larios.
-Kevin Kelley, 33 at the time when he lost to Erik. His past 6 fights before Erik, he was 3-3. Also lost to Genaro Hernandez.
-Paulie Ayala, 32 at the time. Had a 9 win streak but some of the fights were closed.
-Carlos Hernandez, 33, had a 7 fight win streak but before that lost to PBF Mayweather. He also lost to Genaro Hernandez.

I am not putting down the quality of Erik's opponents, but he fought out of prime fighters too.

some of you guys are just impatient. fights w/ guzman or soto or valero will happen for sure, pac is just finishing his business w/ mab and marquez. and both arum and gbp are just milking the pac-mab2 for the money they lost in the litigation processes before mab retires. so relax, enjoy and you'll see the fights you want in the next two years.

EXCEPT when he claims Marquez outboxed Pacquiao. That's nonsense. Pacquiao tore Marquez up between rounds 7 and 10, yet people still think Marquez was competitive that night? Not on the cards he wasn't.

But yeah Pacquiao should be fighting Soto and Guzman. Surely he'll fight the winner?
orly? Pac was given a boxing lesson that night.

I completely disagree with all of this. What did Pac do in the 1st EM fight that was so special? He did drop JMM but he is a Southpaw, and trust that it is a huge advantage when it comes to power punching. If Pac was a righty then I dont think he wouldve dropped JMM. Also, how can you say that no one in the top 10 could do what he did to EM, when EM had just got shutout by Raheem. If he let Raheem shut him out then he was definatly ready to be KO by a power guy and probally will get KO again tonight

Kenneth Bouharie is my homeboy. However, I don't agree with him saying that Pacquiao is taking easy fights. He's fighting whoever he can get.

Then Pac gets all this credit for beating these guys who are clearly done or have no real chance at beating him. Then they rip Floyd? I just dont get that. If he beats MAB then everyone will go crazy again. He's fighting these guys with names but thats all they are right now. I cant believe he got so much credit for beating Morales in 2 and 3 when EM just got shutout by Raheem and Pac KO him in the 1st fight. It makes no sense. Add to that, he looks way bigger then these guys but Floyd is fighting the guys way bigger then him and they say Pac should be #1. Like the guy said, its only because of his style of fighting and its also because the West Coast guys are overrating all of there fighters as usual. The same way they will sweat to death Margarito
Well if you compare how Pac fights his opponents to how Floyd fights his opponents then you'll see a big difference (even though I'm a Floyd fan as well). EM got shutout by a guy that was running. Even Emmanuel Steward believes the reason that was so because of Raheem's style. Also, do you think JMM or even Barrera could take out the same EM from November 06' in 3 rounds?

And to say if Pac was orthodox, he wouldn't KD JMM is like saying if Pac didn't have arms, he wouldn't be boxing in the first place.

yes they would embarrass him... any fighter that could give erik angles that night wouldve knocked him down and make him quit, his legs were dead from the weight loss....and had been since the raheem fight to a certain degree....
pac certainly cant give angles, but he had the power to still expose those old legs....

i like pac in fact i hope he beats the sht out of barrera,, but you guys make him out to be the second coming of god, when he certainly is limited and makes up for it with his power...but i still would favor him over the overrated soto and the very good guzman...and even marquez because evn though maqrquez certainly can outbox pac, he has been getting hit a lot lately even though he has been winning very convincingly...

I disagree about any fighter part, and the Guzman/Soto part. The reason I don't think JMM and Barrera would KO Morales in 3 rounds is because of their styles. Especially around that time, Barrera won his fights with Juarez from just boxing, and JMM doesn't usually follow up with his punches when he attacks (at the time evident from his fight with Jaca).

Though I would favor Soto over Pac because Soto has accurate hard punches. And even though I don't really like Guzman, he could really frustrate Pac. Both guys are hungry and wants their names to be out there.

Some fans are just plain crazy. During the time Pac fought Barrera, Marquez and Morales...nobody else would have beaten them except each other. Who was below them during that time? Juarez? Nanthatchai? an inexperienced pillow punching Guzman and that guy Valero beat?
Pac offered Barrera an immediate rematch....MAB pussied out and we all know why. JMM was offered the same thing but priced himself out. It was only Morales who had the huevos to take on Pac everytime.
Pac Knocked them all down 10 times.....Knocking out MAB and EM 3 times.
Then when Pac sandbagged the fight with Larios, critics said Linares would easily beat Pac coz he KOed Larios. Unbelievable! Can anyone here tell me who would beat Pac at Feather and Superfeather? The truth is nobody can....maybe in 3 more years. After Barrera, JMM's belt is next if he passes the Barrios test.
The truth is the title should change to Pac made them all weak.
