I take this seriously. Wlad is susceptible to being hit with left hands, Chagaev will time a left perfectly anytime Wlad even considers throwing a right, Chagaev will not get murdered by the jab like Brewster did. That would be a very dangerous fight for Wlad. Just as dangerous as Peter.

      This is ridiculous.

Foreman has never been anywhere close to being hurt in a fight outside of Ali and Lyle, and was a complete tank at his older age. He also beat better opposition and didn't show a clear deterioration in his reflexes......being put out on his feet against a guy who's a part time boxer.

You comparing Bernard's old age prospers to Holyfields is ****ing laughable. Hopkins still has his reflexes and is the current LHW champ of the world. You know what the difference is? Neither of them were beat up, and knocked out by a blown up fighter who isn't even known as a big puncher to begin with.

No doubt there is little to compare about any of those 3 guys except their age......

They all have great chins, they all were in pretty good shape, good enough to fight for title match-ups, and they all deserve a chance, I feel sorry that Holyfield getting a shot at the title is becoming like a nightmare for you people
Some of you are putting a legend like Holyfield down to dirt, like he suffers some disease.. He deserves a chance, leave it at that, ****ing pathetic how negative you people are when it comes to old fighters...

            1. Foreman was a physical tank and freak of nature at his old age. Does anyone see a clear deterioration in his speech patterns like Holyfield? Holy is on his way to ending up talking just like Rid**** Bowe and Reggie Strickland.

            2. Hopkins..........hahahahahah he's a ****ing genius who's never taken a beating in his entire career. He just showed the defensive prowess against one of the sports top fighters after winning the LHW title.

            3. Holyfield is a walking liability, who's shown that he can't take a punch like he did early in his career......and is showing clear signs that his reflexes aren't what they used to be. He's a shell of the fighter he once was, and it's only a matter of time before something terrible happens to him. He's never had the smart defensive style that would keep him from getting hit flush, and now it's becoming more apparent how he's not able to simply gaurd his face. One more time, he was beat up and knocked out by a blown up super middleweight who never was known as a big punching heavyweight by any means. The only knockout Toney had at heavyweight CAME AGAINST EVANDER.

Holyfield = Fighter who stays too long.

Foreman and Hopkins = Physical marvels for their respective ages.

Foreman went about fifteen years without fighting. This is a terrible comparison.

Holyfield has fought the best competition of any HW since Ali. He's been beaten up a lot of times by big punchers and lately even by not-so-big punchers. He's done.

Agree with what you've said with one exception. Wlad also has a left hook which is as fast and as powerful as it gets nowdays. I think that it would be his weapon of choice in the fight against Chagaev, which would screw up Chagaev's preparations to counter Wlad's right hand. Steward would surely come up with the fight plan that would nullify Chagaev's left. Peter got wobbled by that same left hook and Austin got murdered by it. Still, it would be interesting to see the fight, it would be entertaining to say the least.

Good point. Austin though walked to his right and so into the hook (the Brock fight had put all the attention on Wlad's right had). Chagaev wouldn't do that. The punch that wobbled Peter was off the back foot, if Wlad lands something like that there's nothing the opponent could do.

But against Chagaev Wlad will be on the front foot and Chagaev boxing, he'd land the hook only after the jab or instead of the jab (when the jab had landed before that).

In any case this is the best tactical fight available at HW, with Peter-Klitschko being the best overall fight.

And thats the problem....Holyfield simply doesn't deserve the shot based on what he did earlier in his career.Foreman fought much better comp in his comeback to land a title shot than Holyfield has and people are forgetting he barely beat Fres Oquendo,It was a very close fight that could have easily been won had Oquendo been more active.Holyfield does not belong in with the divisions elite period. It's detrimental to his health.

When are you going to realize, Holyfield is too old and past his prime to be in the ring with Klitschko. He's at a terrible size disadvantage to begin with, he couldn't deal with Toney's punches that weren't a fraction as hard as anything Wlad would throw.............and his reflexes/timing aren't what they used to be. He's a walking liability and Wlad is the extreme when it comes to Holyfield getting hurt.

An insurance salesman put Holy on ***** street on the best damn sports show. Sure he stopped the insurance salesman, but couldn't avoid a haymaker that backed him up to the ropes, and gave everyone a good scare. For a minute it looked like Holy was back to his old form, and then it was clear as day it was only a smoke screen.

He fights two fat, plodding, stationary, nowhere near top ten level heavyweights in Maddelone and Savarese and now he's ready to take over again? This is absurd.
I'm still on about what you sick obsesive ****? I was making a prediction for who Wlad will fight next. My post had nothing do with Holyfield.

Yeah and you're not a hater. You are genuinely concerned about Holy's health. **** you! You aren't concerned about **** you closet hater ****wad. This post proves it!
