Understanding that he can be hurt now is what he will have to deal with. I'm hoping we will see a very different Vic in future. The whole fight he was looking for a knockout and he needs to learn to be patient and sometimes grind a win out, when a KO isn't happening not simply throw harder.
I wouldn't write him off just yet.Comment

he has no choice but to go back to the gym and improve the D. being KTFO in that brutal fashion by donaire, a guy not known for his power, just takes away the advantage he enjoyed of being an invincible wrecking ball.
he doesn't have the intimidation factor anymore. and as donaire commented, he's a small guy as it is. now he's exposed for his weakness and any future opponents are going to be gunning for a solid chinshot.
and as much he denies, it, just like vargas or anyone else who's been wrecked, the fear and memory stays with you. he's got to improve the D to keep his confidence, especially as he's moving up in weight where stronger punchers are waiting.Comment

The thing that annoys me about Darchinyan is that he never conceded defeat to Donaire. If they do meet again, I will be rooting for the same result...Comment
