LOL the respect I had for Chagaev (zero) just went out the window. I knew these guys wouldn't really go through with it. So much for the big changes in the heavyweight division. These guys are ****.

I'm obviously disappointed that 2 Heavyweight titles will not be unified but I like the fact a fighter I really like Holyfield is getting a title shot! I hope nothing bad (medical) happens to Holyfield and would love to see him win a world title!! Go Holyfield!

None of this matters. As long as Vitali comes back for real and sticks around and Wlad gets knocked out, which is inevitable, just a matter of time, the division will be saved by 2010. But I doubt Vitali stays long. Sam Peter is probably the division's savior as much as I hate to admit it. Man, this has to be the worst the heavyweights have ever been. It's just disturbing to try and list three or four good heavyweights and find out you can't.

Why does Wlad need to get knocked out? Sorry if you hate him so much, but he's not going away. He'll lose agin but he'll be among the top two HWs for the next six or seven years easily.

Exactly... Once again, logical post from kayjay. Posts like that are few and far between.

People read "After the sudden withdrawal of WBA Heavyweight Champion Ruslan Chagaev from his October 13th" and immediately started posting.
