And all you did was mention Hopkins and Forrest as examples of what moving is, you never described the differences between what Floyd does and what they do, so you don't even have an argument. How does that make YOU look?

Not trying to frustrate the opponent into losing and being scared of getting hit. That's just defensive garbage nobody wants to see......outside of a complete tool who gets pleasure out of that.
      LOL

      almost 90 am fights
      almost 40 pro fights

the dude is not in the right line of work if he is "scared of getting hit", dont you think?

How does making it hard for the other boxer to hit you equate to being scared of getting hit? You think if Antonio Margarito or any of the other "warriors" had Mayweather's defensive skills they wouldn't use them?
I already stated enough with the Forrest comparison.

Vernon is more than capable of fighting that defensive style if he wanted to. He elects to take some leather, because boxing is like politics.........and he was campaigning for bigger fights in the future after a huge layoff.

Everyone was impressed because he took some punishment, landed some haymakers, and put on a great boxing show.

He didn't shy away from punches, smile when he got hit, or act like a total douche who is a poor man's version of Pernell Whitaker.

I disagree with his comment about Mayweather (at least I assumed it was about Mayweather) being scared of getting hit. But Roy Jones is all I have to say. Some guys fight with heart, some guys fight with pride. Roy Jones was legitimately scared of getting hit. Maybe it was pride...all I know was it wasn't his heart. He had no stones.

Right 130 fights that consist of relentless backpeddling, or jumping in with a couple of punches, then jumping out, tucking his head behind his shoulders and rotating at the waist...........not caring about what the crowd, fans, or any other boxing critic thought even though they wouldn't pay a cent to watch him fight...............outside of the prospect of someone kicking his ass.

People bought Oscar/Floyd because they wanted to see someone beat Floyd, and were putting money on Oscar. Makes sense........boxing is simply better off without a loud mouthed jackass, who has zero respect for anyone, and will never in his life put on a decent boxing show.

You just had a discussion with me about the Chavez fight.

Let me ask you this question: tell me the fights that PBF "ran" that weren't against MUCH bigger men (Baldomir and Delahoya).

That is 2 fights out of 38... you will tell me the rest.

                    Thanks in advance.

Same thing. If Roy was scared of getting hit, he wouldn't do that thing were he puts his hands behind his body and stick his face out, not to mention HE WOULD NOT HAVE BECOME A BOXER.
