yeah maybe but i dont think he would go out his way to say something like that because it is out of context, in terms of boxing. i think hattons people are very very different to mayweathers also, leonard ellerbe has much more of the attitude that you talk about, it was very clear in de la hoya mayweather 24/7, also its funny you mention the payroll because in the same documentary kerry says that ricky doesnt really need him anymore and he knows "more or less knows what he is doing now" in terms of diet but ricky is the one that keeps him around, just a few things for you to think about, what you said could be right but i dont believe it is

It can't be healthy for Ricky (not just as a fighter, but as a MAN) to yo-yo his weight the way he does.

Ricky is routinely gaining and losing 25% of his bodyweight. Think about that.

you obviously know nothing about ricky hatton so i dont know why you are even arguing, his weight gaining between fights is down to ricky no one else its kerry's job to get it down, his whole team have publicly said that they would prefer if he didnt do what he did, but it helps him mentally to get in to the gym, and i dont think he has ever been close to 200 pounds! every fighter does things differently trust me, and its all about feeling comfortable with your training regime. he is 43-0 how much can you criticise really?

its not healthy at all and if he was to fight past 30 it would surely catch up with him but he is aware of this and thats why he is always said he would retire before 30, which i believe he will

At 147 lbs Floyd can will definatly have a chance to hurt/KO Hatton. Lets not foget Hatton was badly hurt in his last round against Callazo. Hatton is tough as nails but if he allows himself to constantly get caught in this fight he could end up "punch drunk".

Ricky is a friend of yours?

wouldn't 25% of his weight be 35 pounds? As I have heard, Ricky DOES get up to 175. Are you dis*****g that?

I dont think so he was starting to get pounded, the crowd and commentators could both see it coming.

I think he showed his skills as a fighter, but neither of those fights proved him to be physically tough in the ring imo.

                      You Never Know

The most obvious answer is that Pretty Boy wins but every dog has his day and it would be a shock to see Hatton catch a break and KO Floyd. I'm not saying that I like the guy but anything could happen. RacHman vs Lewis 1
