Hatton knows he is going to lose and probably DOES NOT CARE. The man is talking retirement and it would not surprise me if he retired after this fight. 47-1 is still a phenomenal record. Making a guaranteed 10M is a phenomenal payday. Taking your first loss to the number 1 p4p who is supposed to beat you makes the loss understandable. This fight is going to disappoint many.

Great news. The second half of 2007--if the Cotto-Mosley fight gets signed--is the best stretch for boxing since the Leonard/Hagler/Hearns/Duran/Tyson/Holyfield glory days of the late 70s-early 90s.

this fight is a mismatch on paper, mayweather has the advantage in every category. yes, every category. It could turn out to be a very entertaining fight though, one sided but entertaning. Mayweather by tko between 7th and 11th round.
